Thank you so much for letting us view your journal. It helps to get new ideas on the daily menu. I realized from looking at your journal that I am not adding enough protein shakes. I was only doing one right after my workouts. I am going to try to have two or three daily. I also notice that I eat a lot more than you. Probably, one of my big problems.

well… and i havent been logging lately. i've not been home much! however, i promise to get back into the routine now that i know you're keeping track
you probably arent 5'3″ and 112 lbs… so you SHOULD be eating more than me. I usually drink 2 shakes a day to get my ''protein requirements'' met. but Whole FOODS are the absolute best way to get your proteins in.
if you're interested in further nutritional info, you can always ask

Blythe, I downloaded your pod casts on my iPhone and totally love them! I am always looking to learn more about food and dieting to get leaner. I am on #4 of the pod casts and cant seem to get enough! lol I find them very helpful. I really want to trim my bodyfat down… very low … but i have not had that great of success. You can view my pics to see what i have done in the past http://bodyspace.bodybuilding.com/BB2K/ but the diets made me very sleepy, drained, dizzy etc. I love high protein, med fat and low carb BUT low carb causes me to crave more food all the time so my dieting isnt working now. I am going to try your idea of no carbs 3hrs prior to training and no carbs 2hrs after. I eat meal 1 normally at 8am, hit the gym by 930 or 10, then have my PWO shake/meal 2 right after so then i would have carbs in my 3rd meal, none in 4th, carbs in 5th and none in 6th correct? I can post what i eat and what sups i use if you like and get your input, which i would love. Thank you for the pod casts, they rock!

Hi everybody!!
Blythe, I really love your podcasts! Pity there are so few of them! I discovered them about 10 days ago and already I have listened to all of them through my daily walking. They are so motivating!!!
The thing is I heard you saying that we shouldn´t eat carbohydrates in all our meals. I am following a diet now. I have two slices of whole-meal bread at breakfast, lunch and dinner. The thing is that I am supposed to have a mid-morning and an afternoon snack consisting in a low-fat yogohurt plus a small piece of fruit.
As fruit has carbohydrates I am actually eating them all day long. On the other side I need my vitamins. If I eat the fruit at main meals I would not be distributing the calory amount in the right way either. So what do you suggest?
I must confess that this plan has worked so far, but as there is always room for improvement…
Thanks for your time.
